Non-BES Blackberry Configuration

Depending on your carrier, you may need to configure your blackberry to access data over the internet. If your blackberry is set up with a Blackberry Enterprise Server then you do not need to do this procedure. If you are not sure if you're on BES or not, please ask your systems or network administrator.

For Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and Nextel users, no configuration is necessary at this time.

For Cingular and T-Mobile users:

Go to Options, select TCP (if you don't see TCP then look under Advanced Options)

Enter your information exactly as shown:

Note: for T-Mobile leave the username and password fields blank

Save the settings

Reboot the Blackberry by pressing Alt-Cap-Backspace at the same time

You may now proceed with the download.
