Tip #1: Custom Billing Rates

Hopefully you've had a change to create your clients and start entering time. Now learn how to setup custom billing rates!

Set Client Billing Rate

Like most of us, you probably bill different hourly rates to different clients. Bill4Time is ready for this and allows you to set the billing rate for each client.

  1. From the Dashboard, click on "Client Management" from the Administrative Menu.
  2. Click on the client that you want to set the billing rate for.
  3. Click on the "Billing Rate" tab.
  4. Choose either "Flat Rate" or "Per User".

Flat Rate: Assigns a specific rate for that client for all the users in Bill4Time. Enter the standard and overtime rate.

Per User: Each user's default billing rate will be used. To override the user's default rate, click on the checkbox under Standard or Overtime and enter in the desired amount.
