Setting the Project Mnemonic

Most people call the work they do "projects". But you can rename it to anything you wish, such as matters, tickets, jobs, cases, or anything else. Your change will be reflected in all areas of Bill4Time.

  1. From the Dashboard, click on "Firm/System Settings" from the Administrative Menu.
  2. Click on the "System" tab.
  3. Click on the "Edit Info" button.
  4. Change the "Project Mnemonic" to anything you choose.

Create a Custom List

Lists are used to define things like Project Categories, Billable Activities, and many other functions in Bill4Time.

  1. From the Dashboard, click on "Firm/System Settings" from the Administrative Menu.
  2. Click on the "Custom List" tab.

From here you can view and edit the different lists in Bill4Time.

Our international customers will appreciate the ability to select the international date format and choose an alternate currency.

  1. From the Dashboard, click on "Firm/System Settings" from the Administrative Menu.
  2. Click on the "System" tab.
  3. Adjust the "System Date Format" and "Currency Symbol".
