Track Performance and Activity Through Reports

All too often you may find yourself getting so wrapped up in servicing your clients and billing hours that you forget to actually take a step back and look at your business as a whole. Small business guru Barry Gerber talks about working "on" the business and not "in" the business in his E-Myth series of books.

Bill4Time has some great reports to help you see how much time you are billing and more importantly, how much money you're bringing in! The basic reports (User and Client Summary) let you see a list of time billed, grouped and sorted in a number of ways.

The User Efficiency report is one of our favorites - it lets you see a color-coded month overview of how much time you have billed per day. For example, if you billed under 4 hours, it shows in yellow. More than 11 hours, purple. You can click on a selected day or week-ending to see a breakdown of your activity for the day.

There are many more reports available and you can see them all in the dashboard under "Reports" or read more in the Reporting Guide.
