Thank you for your blog post above.

Question from a new user. When I start the timer for internal time, what do I put in the client and matter when it asks me this question in the timer or time entry rows?

also I have a lot of potential new clients and some I bill later some I do not as its just a quick phone call so can I transfer the time to a potential client later if it becomes a client
also if i want to track or prove i have 15 hours of CLE in trust and estates a year should i just track that in internal time and then transfer to a new dummy account called continuing legal education
ok I have a lot of questions, any tips let me know and thanks a lot

    • So for Internal Time, it shouldn’t ask you for a Client and Matter. To turn on Internal Time go to Settings – System tab and click Edit Settings. There you can check the box next to “Track Internal (Non-Client) Time” and click Save. This will now allow you to add Internal Time from the Dashboard, Time/Expenses, and Mobile/Widget.

Yes, any time you make can be moved from client to client. You can open a previously saved entry which will allow you to change the Client and Matter and re-save the entry. You can also duplicate any previously saved entry you make if you enter the same work often and just switch up the client.
